Natural History Museum

The Collections, Science and Digitisation Centre is a new facility for science and digitisation. Fully opening in 2031, 28 million specimens will be housed at the centre when completed, sitting alongside innovative digital, analytical and genomic technologies and facilities.

British Museum Archaeological Research Collection

Known as Archaeological Research Centre, the purpose built £64m facility houses around 1.3 million objects from the museum’s collection. It is a destination for researchers, sharing collections with the University of Reading, outreach with local schools and scheduled visits from members of the public.
