We are committed to an intensive programme of research that puts our staff at the forefront of their fields and is embedded in our teaching.

Multidisciplinary research topics are encouraged between the departments across the School and the wider University. With access to an extensive range of archives, collections, museums and research centres, you will be provided with opportunities to explore and widen your knowledge within and beyond the academic environment.

With a proud history stretching back more than 100 years, and with the Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology at our heart, the Classics Research Division attracts students, researchers and visitors from across the globe.
