Register to attend an Open Day at the Sustainable University of the Year

Friday 20 June

Saturday 21 June

Discover our Archaeology, Classics and History courses, and visit our beautiful parkland campus, 25 minutes from London.

The University of Reading has been named Sustainable University of the Year in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025.

Every aspect of human life has a history. Through the words and stories and artefacts which survive from the past, we explore not just world-changing events and famous figures, but also the experiences, ideas, and feelings of much more ordinary people too.

Come and meet our experts and hear about their fascinating research into the past. You can also visit the Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology, located within the Department of Classics, and take part in object handling.

Leaders in global sustainability

We’re proud to be playing a sector-leading role in addressing climate change and environmental sustainability.

As a student, you will explore these issues in your studies, benefit from our work to make life on campus sustainable and can apply for our undergraduate global sustainability leaders scholarship. Find out more about our multi-award-winning work at our open days.
