Some Thoughts on Time Lecture

Subject Specific Lectures: Some Thoughts on Time Lecture

In this lecture, Dr Ian James presents two theories about how the universe was formed, first from the physicist point of view, tracing the development of the stars and then the planets, through to the formation of the earth. He then presents the biologist's perspective on how the earth developed, and how life evolved, from very simple life forms to complex human beings. He concludes his lecture with a poem which emphasises the importance of 'personal' time, and living in the moment.
