Lecture of General Interest: Evacuees Lecture

Martin Parsons has been doing research into evacuees for the past 16 years. The focus of this lecture is the evacuation of children during World War 2. He gives a brief historical background to the evacuation, talks about the process of evacuation, and then presents some of the research which has come to light through his interviews with evacuees now in their adult life, and the impact of the early experience.
