This lecture looks at the issue of climate change, currently one of the biggest threats to humankind, in the context of climate change over the history of the Earth. Dr Griffiths explains how climate has oscillated between glacial periods and how the concentration of carbon dioxide has changed in time and why. She illustrates the phenomenon of climate change and presents evidence of how human activity is contributing to leading to global warming.
