The Polymer Science Centre has intensive programmes which involve the use of facilities at
ISIS
Pulsed Neutron Source (30 minutes from Reading) especially LOQ, GEM, SANDALS
Institute Laue-Langevin
in Grenoble France a reactor neutron source, especially D22 a Small-angle Neutron Scattering Instrument
Daresbury SRS
- a synchrotron source especially beam-line 16.1
HAYSLAB Hamburg Germany -a synchrotron source
And we look forward to the opening of
diamond
- the UK's new synchrotron source which is situated ~ 30 minutes from Reading.
