At the University of Reading we offer undergraduate BSc and MMath programmes in Mathematics, with first and second year modules covering core material in pure and applied mathematics, and a wide variety of third (and fourth) year options offering the opportunity to focus your studies in a number of different directions. We also offer joint degrees with meteorology, computer science, economics and psychology.

Student opinion
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Reading consistently achieves excellent results in the National Student Survey. In the most recent survey, published in August 2011, we achieved 94% for Overall Student Satisfaction, putting us 8th in the list of all universities in England and Wales.
