Natalie Franklin
Responsibilities
I work in the Institute of Education Art Department, providing studio technical support to those training to be teachers. This includes preparing materials for taught studio sessions, organising and ordering stock, skills training and instruction, making sure health and safety procedures are followed and just generally being helpful! I use knowledge from my degree, my current practice as an artist and my interests to support students in their artwork.
Career History
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Craft from Plymouth College of Art in 2015 and, after a brief spell in retail and hospitality jobs, I relocated to work at the University of Reading in 2017.
