The technical support available to assist Heads of Schools, Directors of Facilities and Heads of Departments to align technical support provision with the strategic vision of the School

Services include...

  • Ensuring that communication channels are in place between Schools and Technical Services
  • Seeking feedback on current technical provision
  • Working with Schools to ensure that current technical provision develops in terms of skills sets to meet the adapting needs of each School
  • Working with Schools to ensure that recruitment of new staff is closely aligned with strategic requirements of each School
  • Providing project support for new builds or local refurbishment of technical/specialist areas within a School
  • Assisting with development of business continuity and major incident plans for Schools
  • In accordance with plans, responding to business continuity and major incidents that affect specialist areas
  • Advising and assisting with strategic facility and equipment improvements across Schools
  • Overseeing equipment budgets if required
