Convenor for PO3ITE (International Terrorism), PIM-73 (Conflict in the Middle East) and PIM-74 (Terrorism in a Globalising World). Additionally I teach on P01IRS (International Relations)
Areas of Interest:

My research is located within both terrorism studies and Middle Eastern politics, with particular focus on Palestine.

My current work uses ethnographic methods to understand the politics/construction of terrorism among various Palestinian communities in the West Bank.

I am further interested in: settler colonialism (in Palestine and elsewhere), post-colonial/decolonial theories and methodologies, the use of 'popular culture' in the study of politics, and reflexivity in politics/IR.
