Eunyoung Lee graduated from the Reading School of Pharmacy after studying for the MPharm in 2015. Since leaving, her career in pharmaceutical industry has gone from strength to strength, and she is a positive example of what can be achieved after receiving a degree from the University of Reading.
After graduating, Eunyoung Lee has rapidly progressed at GlaxoSmithKline. She started as a Pre-Reg Pharmacist in 2015, moved into a Supply Chain Development Lead role in 2016, and has been promoted to Clinical Development Manager in 2017.
"The teaching at the Reading School of Pharmacy provided strong grounding for research and development. For example, the Medicine Design project: we planned the development of a new drug product and then promoted it. I gained hands-on research experience through the University's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP), and my research project findings were published in an academic journal and presented to an audience of pharmacists and academics, including the president of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society."
