Get Heard: discuss and debate with the Staff Forum

Get Heard events

Following 12 monthly drop-in sessions held by the Staff Forum last year, a new series of lunchtime events will be held each month whereby Representatives invite you to join them in discussion and debates upon topics that impact your experience at the University of Reading.

These lunchtime events will be held on the different University campus and you are invited to spectate or participate; a modest working lunch will be provided for attendees due to the timing of these events. We hope by holding them at these times, colleagues will have an opportunity to join with us.

Each monthly session will start with a theme or question put forward by the Staff Forum Representatives. Following the discussion and debate upon that issue, attendees are welcome to raise a topic or question to the Staff Forum.

The first discussion and debate will be held on 30 October 2019, 12:00-13:00, in the Palmer building, room G04.

Our first topic for discussion and debate will be "Sustainability and Travel".

See the Staff Forum website for details of locations, dates, times and an online form to confirm your attendance and lunch dietary requirements.
