Green Festival events at the University
Monday, 12 November 2018
Between 14 and 16 November the Green Festival will host events across the University to raise awareness of green issues. It will look at the actions we have already taken to turn the University into a sector leading institution and what more we can all do to reduce our collective impact on the environment.
The three days include the following events:
On Wednesday 14th:
The launch of JUMP the green activity platform where colleagues can take part in a range of activities under the themes of engagement and new ideas, energy and water reduction, sustainable travel, reduce reuse recycle, sustainable food and drink. For each activity you take part in, you’ll receive points which will contribute to your overall individual and team points totals. As well the first 100 subscribers will receive a sustainable coffee cup. Every month we’ll be giving out 2 x £20 vouchers to top point earners to spend on the following:
- Sustain-IT bottle and Catering Voucher
- Showcase Cinema

The team with the most points after 12 months will receive the top prize of £200 to benefit their favourite charity from a shortlist.
