Five of the University's top researchers have recently been awarded £1,000 each in recognition of their outstanding research publication.

The prizes are awarded annually to acknowledge the continuing importance of high quality research to the University. Competitions were run at Faculty level, with nominees generated via competitions within schools and departments. 

The winners are:

Dr Rebecca Rist, History, who won the Faculty of Arts and Humanities prize.

Dr James Walker won the Henley Business School prize.

Dr Runming Yao, Construction Management and Engineering won the Faculty of Science prize.

Dr Andre Cobb from Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy, won the Faculty of Life Sciences prize.

Dr James Green, Law won the Faculty of Social Sciences prize.
