Recruitment is closed for this study

We are investigating the effects of compounds found in berries, called flavonoids, on cognitive function, glucose and cortisol levels in healthy older adults.

Eligibility: Are you 55-75 years old, a non-smoker and generally healthy (no serious medical conditions, healthy BMI and blood pressure, no medication for high blood pressure or cholesterol, no allergies to our study foods, and no history of depression)?

Are you happy to spend two mornings in the Nutrition Unit, consume a berry-based drink, provide finger prick glucose samples and saliva samples, and perform paper- and computer-based cognitive function tests?

You will be reimbursed for your time and expenses.
