Summer Vacation 2025/26

The University of Reading enters its Summer Vacation period from Monday 15th June 2026. The University still has many students in attendance; whether you're a postgraduate taught (PGT) student, postgraduate research (PGR) student, foundation January-start student, pre-sessional or summer school student.

The Global Study Lounge is committed to ensuring you're aware of all that the University and wider community have to offer! If you're in Reading during this time, there are plenty of Global Student Lounge, campus, and community-based events for you to take part in!

Whether you want a break from your studies, to experience something uniquely British, connect with new and diverse communities and groups, or get involved with something new, there should be something for everyone!
