    Kick Start Your Career: Returning to work after a break or looking at your next steps?  07/07  18:05 - 19:45  If you are looking to return to work after a gap, whether through illness, raising a family or taking time out to travel, or maybe you are looking for other (better?) opportunities, then this session is for you. We will cover job search strategies, document optimisation, networking, interview technique, how to freshen up your skills and CV. We will also touch on disability disclosure.
    Graduate Schemes & Graduate Jobs  13/07  17:15 - 18:00  New graduate? Or maybe had a break to travel? Perhaps you tried a job, but it didn’t work out? Then this session is for you! Come along to get the lowdown on graduate schemes and graduates jobs. In this session you will :

    - Understand the timelines for graduate recruitment and when to apply.

    - Identify where jobs in your field of interest are likely to be advertised and compare search techniques.

    - Explore graduate schemes, which ones might be for you, and how to apply. Deadlines for many of these programmes can be as early as September, October, or November, so book your place now and come and find out all you need to know!

    - Learn what to expect from the recruitment process (for grad schemes and grad jobs) and how to prepare, including explaining career changes, or gaps in your CV,

    - Make an action plan for the weeks ahead.

    Managing the transition to the world of work (Life Tools)  25/07  17:15 - 18:00  Work can be an interesting place where you can contribute with your ideas and make things happen. Being able to juggle several projects and deal with complex situations will require the ability to prioritise effectively. Collaborating with others is essential to get work done by the deadline. This requires self-management and the ability to communicate effectively. Discover the importance of resilience at work and develop strategies to manage challenges effectively.
