Teacher Training - What documents do I need to bring to my interview?
Congratulations on receiving an invitation to attend an interview for one of our teacher training programmes at the University of Reading. We are looking forward to meeting you at your interview.
If you are successful at interview, you will need to apply for an Enhanced DBS check through the University. As part of the application process for an Enhanced DBS check, you will need to provide at least three valid original ID documents for verification. If you have changed your name, you will need to provide original documentation confirming your name change(s) along with your three other ID documents.
Please bring your ID documents for the DBS check to your interview. You will need to bring the original documents and a photocopy of each document.
Please refer to our advice on providing the correct identity documents for the DBS check for a list of acceptable documents.
You must also complete the online DBS Information form before the date of your interview to confirm which documents you will be bringing to your interview and other important information that we will require for your DBS application.
Does the University accept Enhanced DBS clearance through the Update Service?
Please refer to our guidance on acceptance of DBS clearance through the Update Service for further information.
