Teacher Training - What documents do I need to bring to my interview?

If you are successful at interview, you will need to apply for an Enhanced DBS check through the University. As part of the application process for an Enhanced DBS check, please bring these documents to your interview:

  • The originals, as well as photocopies, of documents confirming name changes, where applicable.

Before your interview: Please complete the online DBS information form to confirm which documents you will be bringing to your interview along with other important information that we will require for your DBS application.

Please note: You will not be required to apply for an Enhanced DBS check at your interview. If you receive an accept an offer for the teacher training course, we will send you instructions on how to apply online for an Enhanced DBS check at a later stage. Please note, the ID verification process for teacher training DBS applications is usually carried out between April and August. The ID documents that you provide will need to be valid and in date at the time at which the ID verification process for your DBS application is carried out. If any of the documents that you provide at your interview are not valid or expire before the ID verification process is carried out, we will contact you and ask you to arrange a time to bring alternative documents to the University for verification.
