This 'In Conversation' style event saw Paul being interviewed by the Vice-Chancellor, Sir David Bell.
Paul Vallely is author of "the stand-out biography" (The Tablet) of the Pope. He is a journalist, academic and campaigner. Paul co-authored Tony Blair's Commission for Africa's final report and worked with Bob Geldof on how to spend the money raised by Live Aid. He has chaired the Catholic Institute for International Relations, Traidcraft, advised Christian Aid and Cafod. He advises Waitrose on Corporate Social Responsibility and has been an adviser to the Archbishop of Canterbury and to the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales.
