Sophos Anti-Virus is the ITS recommended anti-virus program which is free to all members of the University. We have purchased a site licence which covers use on University-owned computers and also on computers belonging to staff and students for as long as they are members of the University. The site licence covers all operating systems in common use, notably Microsoft Windows XP (SP2), Apple Mac OS X and GNU/Linux. If your operating system is not listed below, please see the Sophos distribution server or contact us and we will provide you with a version of Sophos to suit you.
