Password reset


 If you are a student, you can change your password yourself using our online services.

  1. Open the following link:
  2. Click continue
  3. Leave the PIN reminder button selected and click next
  4. Enter your username and student ID and click continue
  5. Your pin reminder will then be sent to your personal email address
  6. Once you have received your pin, log onto
  7. Click continue Enter your username, student ID and the PIN number that you received
  8. Type in the new password you have chosen and confirm the password in the box below
  9. Click continue
  10. You should receive a message to say the password change was successful.

 If this is unsuccessful, you can call Information Technology on 0118 378 6262 to investigate (we will be unlikely to be able to reset the password if the previous has failed) or contact your supervisor/tutor/department to request an investigation into your account and why it does not work.


For staff, please come to the IT counter in the room G17 in the URS building on Whiteknights campus with some photo ID, or contact your manager who will need to arrange collection of the new password through secure channels
