Google Mini Local Search
Introduction
The Google Mini search engine run by The University of Reading can be used to
incorporate searches into your web site. This search engine indexes all of the
publicly accessible pages every night (as distinct from the public search engine
that just indexes once per month) so that the searches return the most
up-to-date pages.
You can set up a search box on your web pages to return search results for
the whole of The University of Reading or just for your part of the University
site. A site in this case is defined as an URL and all the pages below that
point, for example www.reading.ac.uk/french/.
