Accommodation

Students in halls

A room in a Hall of Residence is guaranteed for IFP students of 17 years of age and above.

Please read the following information carefully.

IFP students applying for rooms in Halls need to make an application online. However, you are only able to apply for accommodation if you have accepted your Unconditional or Conditional offer of a place on the Programme. To do this, you must return your Acceptance form to the ISLC office as soon as possible.

Students joining the programme in January and who have accepted an offer can apply for accommodation from 7 November 2011.

Students must apply online in order to guarantee a place in a Hall of Residence.

Please see the instructions on how to apply below.

Halls available for IFP students

More information on catering can be found here: http://www.fmd.reading.ac.uk/Events_and_catering/Residential_Catering/

The following Halls (mostly catered) are available for a limited initial residency period. Students opting for the halls where the initial residency period finishes on 30 June will be provided with alternative accommodation for the Summer Vacation period.

Bulmershe (self-catered en-suite; 3 Jan - 30 June)

Windsor (catered, wash-basin room; 3 Jan - 30 June)

Windsor (catered, standard room; 3 Jan - 30 June)

Wantage (catered, wash-basin room; 3 Jan - 30 June)

Wantage (catered, standard room; 3 Jan - 30 June)

In the catered halls, the charge for catering is included in the rent. This is loaded on to the students' campus card and meals can be purchased (at 40% discount) during the IFP term-times (up to 30 June). The amount loaded on the card is equivalent to around 14 meals per week.
