Summary
It is proposed to amend Regulation (EU) 2015/1375 on the control of Trichinella in order to align it with Regulation (EU) 2016/429, applicable from 21 April 2021 onwards. In addition, the detailed description of the EU reference method for detection of Trichinella is replaced by a reference to ISO 18743:2015, since the EU reference method has been validated as this ISO standard.
