Entry requirements vary slightly between our courses but generally, excluding General Studies and Key Skills,  you are expected to obtain the following.

  • ABB with 3 A Levels
  • BBBC with 3 A Levels and 1 AS Level

BSc degree courses

  • ABB with 3 A Levels

English language

If your previous education was not taught in English, you will need to provide evidence of your ability to study in English. Further information on English language requirements.

Fees and funding for undergraduate students

Undergraduate fees are fixed on an annual basis and will likely rise slightly each year.

A range of scholarships and other sources of funding are open to all undergraduate students.

You may be eligible to receive an Entrance Scholarship worth £2,000. These scholarships are in addition to bursaries available to students with household incomes below £45,000.

Entrance Scholarships of £2,000 will be paid to all students who achieve three A levels with grades AAA, a total of 37 points in the International Baccalaureate, or the equivalent You must also specify Reading as your original firm choicevia the UCAS system before 1 August of the year of entry.
