Career Management Skills
A particularly important University-wide initiative that can help you with finding work is the Career Management Skills programme. It covers things like:
- What my skills, interests and values are?
- Which sort of job would suit me?
- What careers can I go into using my degree?
- How can I find out about postgraduate options?
- Where should I look for information on International jobs?
- Which sorts of employers recruit people with my qualifications?
- How can I do myself justice when applying for jobs?
Which degree?
If you are not sure what you want to study and would like to see where your degree might lead in terms of a future career, use the Subjects to Study help pages from the Prospects site.
