Work experience and volunteering - paid and unpaid work
Please ensure you read our policy on unpaid vacancies and placements before you submit a vacancy to us.
As an employer, it is your responsibility to pay at least the national minimum wage (NMW) to workers who are eligible for the NMW. The term 'worker' is defined in law - this checklist on the Business Link website will help you to determine whether an individual is a worker or not. Note to recruitment agencies
The The Careers Centre will only post adverts for specific vacancies. We do not run generic adverts for recruitment agencies. If you wish to advertise a vacancy but do not want to publicise the name of your client, we are happy to run adverts without this information. However, you must divulge the name of your client to the Careers, Placement and Experience Centre when you submit a vacancy.
