Graduate Destinations

Reading

The Careers, Placement and Experience Centre collects data on the first destinations of leavers (as at 6 months after graduation) to complete the required annual return to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) which collates and publishes such data from all UK universities.

This is the information used in the national newspapers' league tables and by the Quality Assurance Agency as a measure of student performance and progression. Careers advisers at Reading use the data to inform and advise students and academics.

Longitudinal surveys

This provides detailed information on the career paths of first degree graduates from 1997 and gives a better reflection of developing career plans and aspirations over time.
