Join us on the Monday 9 of March, 17:00–19:30 at Eat at the Square for an uplifting International Women’s Day celebration bringing together students, staff, and local residents. All our welcome at this free event. This is also a Trans-Inclusive Event.
The evening will explore this year’s key themes of justice, generosity, and sustainable, people-centred change. Expect inspiring reflections from a mix of local leaders, academics, and global voices.
After speeches, enjoy a relaxed, creative programme with tea and cake, interactive discussion tables, yoga, tap dancing, crochet, mindfulness colouring, badge-making, and an International Women’s Day quiz. Free sanitary products will be available, and guests are invited to take part in a raffle with many self-care prizes to be won!
The space will be decorated with yellow flowers symbolising women and solidarity, which attendees can take home at the end of the evening.
Come to connect, reflect, create, and celebrate women in all their diversity—everyone is welcome.
