12:00 – 13:20, 25 March | Online

In this talk, University of Portsmouth academics, Dr Helen Ringrow and Dr Charlotte Boyce, will share insights from their recent research project, which involved working directly with young women to co-create a media literacy toolkit. This toolkit is designed to give young people the knowledge and confidence they need to critically engage with body image messaging in the media.

What to expect from the session:

  • why this project was urgently needed
  • key insights from the research
  • a sneak peek at the toolkit created by and for young women
  • behind-the-scenes reflections from the research team
  • exciting plans for what’s next.

Whether you're passionate about media, education, mental health, or women’s empowerment, this event is a must-attend!
