VICE CHANCELLOR GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD 2023/24

100 scholarships of £4,000 each are available to international undergraduate students.

Key information:
  • These awards have been allocated to specific countries – if your country is not listed, you can be considered under our Worldwide category.
  • To be considered for the scholarship, it is necessary to have been offered and accepted admission to the University for an eligible programme of undergraduate study for entry in the academic year 2023/24.
  • No further application is required.  Selection will be based on academic achievement, as evidenced through outstanding performance in the examinations or assessments (qualifications) offered by the student in order to gain admission to the University.
  • The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction and is applied for each year of study.
  • Recipients must be classified by the University as an International student for fees purposes.

The distribution of awards reflects the countries from which we see the greatest demand for our courses. To be eligible for a country-specific Vice Chancellor Global Scholarship award, you should be resident in one of the countries listed. To ensure that no student will be excluded from consideration, 16 awards are set aside exclusively for students resident in other countries worldwide.

IFP Ambassador Scholarships

Applications for IFP Ambassador Scholarships are open to all non-sponsored, international-fee paying International Foundation Programme (IFP) students.

BSC ARCHITECTURE SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2023 ENTRY

Students enrolling onto our BSc Architecture course in 2023 have the opportunity to secure a scholarship worth £1,000 for each of the three years of their course (subject to conditions for 2023 entry).

pwc flying start degree bursary

PwC are offering £10,000 bursaries to students joining the BA Accounting and Business – The Flying Start Degree Programme in 2022. The bursary is available to support living costs.

University of Reading Sanctuary Scholarships

Please note that applications for Sanctuary Scholarships at the University of Reading for September 2022 entry have now closed.

The University of Reading welcomes all students with the academic ability to succeed on our degree programmes, regardless of their background, and is committed to supporting those who face barriers to accessing university. This includes sanctuary seekers (people with refugee, humanitarian protected or asylum seeker status) who we support through our Sanctuary Scholarships scheme, which helps with the costs of higher education through bursaries and fee waivers.

Sanctuary Scholarship applications for eligible students are now open. The closing date for applications is Monday 4 July 2022 for undergraduate and master’s programmes.

Please note that applications for pre-sessional English Sanctuary Scholarships have now closed for 2022.
