This module will introduce students to sources and secondary literature concerning a specified topic in ancient culture, literature or reception.
Aims:
This module aims to equip students with subject knowledge, and with experience in research and in communication both oral and written.
Assessable learning outcomes:
students are expect to show
-thorough acquaintance with a specific body of subject knowledge
-ability to complement the evidence and arguments presented in the lectures and seminars with additional information assembled by their own research
-ability to articulate their arguments effectively and illustrate them with relevant evidence.
Additional outcomes:
students will develop skills in discussion in seminars, and in bibliographic research, including appropriate use of IT
