We are currently planning for physical ceremonies to go ahead in the winter of 2022, the dates of which have been published below. All students invited to these ceremonies should now have been contacted and asked to complete an Expression of Interest Process. The Graduation Office will then be able to plan and publish the ceremony schedule based on responses to this process. We anticipate being able to release the ceremony schedule and launch the Formal Registration Process from the w/c 17 October onwards. If you were expecting to attend a ceremony in December 2022 but have not received any emails from us, please email email@example.com as soon as possible.
The holding of such physical ceremonies is of course still reliant on any COVID-19 related restrictions that the UK Government, whilst unlikely, may re-introduce at any point. If there are any changes to UK Govt. policy that would affect our graduation ceremonies, we will of course be in touch with our invited graduates/graduands as soon as possible.
We are now able to offer guests with tickets to be seated in the Great Hall for your ceremony (up to two per graduand, requested during the Formal Registration process). If any new Government restrictions are put in place that mean we have to limit capacity in the Great Hall, guest tickets will transfer to ceremony livestream rooms on the Whiteknights campus.
Our Essentials webpages are also being refreshed regularly with the latest information and advice, so please continue to monitor these as well as your University email address (or personal email address for those who have already completed their studies).
The Graduation Team are currently dividing our time between working remotely from home and in our office. In line with the most up-to-date UK Government guidance we may have to move to solely working from home at short notice, which may impact on our ability to provide a few of our services.
