Join nearly half a million undergraduate students in the UK to have your say about your university experience in the National Student Survey (NSS).
What is the National Student Survey (NSS)?
The National Student Survey (NSS) invites all final-year undergraduates in the UK to share their views on the quality of their course.
Run independently by Ipsos for the Office for Students (OfS), the NSS helps universities improve the student experience and supports prospective students in making informed choices. Results are published on the OfS and Discover Uni websites.
Why take part?
Because your experiences are important. Your feedback is invaluable in highlighting what works well and what could be improved at the University of Reading. The survey asks about key aspects of your academic experience and includes space for optional comments.
We take your feedback and views seriously because they help us understand what we are doing well and what we can do better. This is your opportunity to shape the experience for future Reading students.
Complete the survey
Eligible students will receive an email from Ipsos with a unique link to complete the NSS, or you can visit thestudentsurvey.co.uk. You have until 30 April 2026 if you wish to complete the survey.
Please note that Ipsos may send reminders by text and, after three weeks, by phone if you haven't yet responded. Once completed, you will not be contacted again. If you have any questions please contact us, or email thestudentsurvey@ipsos.com.
