Eating out

Eating on campus and in Reading

Whether you’re craving a taste of home or looking to try something new, Reading has plenty of food options to explore! From global street food to classic British dishes, there’s something for every appetite - and every budget.

And if you love food as much as we do, you’ll also find clubs and events on campus that celebrate cooking, growing, and sharing food together:

  • Student Eats Garden - grow vegetables and enjoy some outdoor time.
  • FlavUOR Garden - a sustainability-focused herb and vegetable garden.
  • Vegsoc - for anyone interested in a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle.

If you don’t feel like cooking, food delivery apps like Deliveroo, Just Eat, or Uber Eats can bring meals straight to your door. Look out for student discounts too!
