The Placements Team is part of the University’s Careers and Employability Team and we specialise in and support credit-bearing placement activities across the University’s Schools and Departments. This includes the Professional Placement Year (PPY), shorter summer placements and mandatory clinical/educational placements.

Placement Appointments
Our placement team support all students with the preparation for their course-based placements as well as extra-curricular internships and work experience. There are no right or ‘wrong’ questions to ask or subjects to explore during a placement appointment. A selection of common questions and subjects are below but don’t worry if you have something different you’d like to talk about!
