The University of Reading’s Science, Health & Environment Fair 2024 is part of our Science & Health Week. Whether you have graduate, placement or vacation roles to promote or just want to promote your organisation and industry, we would welcome your participation. Last year, over 400 students attended.
We are a global University that enjoys a world-class reputation for teaching, research and enterprise. Entry requirements for the vast majority of first degree programmes are A-levels at A or B grade. See a full list of the courses offered at Reading.
This event is designed to enable students from the science and life sciences disciplines, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, to find out about a range of relevant career options and build their networks in the sector. We are looking for both large and SME organisations to join us.
Our aim is to have the following areas represented:
Food Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Science Writing, Physicians Associate, Health Research, Neuroscience, Clinical Trials, Industrial Pharmacy, Energy, Water Utilities, Environmental Consultancy, Crop Development and more!
Due to the popularity of the fair, spaces are allocated to ensure a fair representation of employers that interest our students. The stand price is £120 (inclusive of VAT).
Booking process:
If you would like to request a space at the fair, please follow the steps below using our online portal, My Jobs Online.
1. If your organisation is already registered on MyJobsOnline
a. please log in and complete the booking request form.
2. If your organisation is not registered:
a. Please register here. Your organisation will be approved by a member of the Careers team.
b. You will need to also complete the booking request form.
Please complete the booking request form by no later than Friday 12 January 2024. Early booking is advised to secure your space.
