Our main campus is set in 130 hectares of beautiful parkland, so you'll find plenty of places to relax during the day.

The campus is a thriving community and features the Carrington Building which houses 'Student Services' the Students' Union; RUSU and our Library, places to eat study and live.

It also boasts beautiful green spaces, the Harris Garden, two on-site museums - the Cole and Ure Museums, a cinema, SportsPark and much more.

You have everything you need right on your doorstep.

    London Road

This historic site, one of the University's original campuses, is home to the Institute of Education and the new School of Architecture.

It features the Great Hall, which is used for concerts and graduation ceremonies, and The Dairy, local craft bar and kitchen.

Getting to campus

We are lucky to have plenty of excellent travel links in Reading, and we strongly advise students to avoid bringing a car to campus. Find out more about the range of travel options available.

Spending time on campus

My favourite place on campus is the grassy square in the centre of Whiteknights! As soon as the sun comes out, so many students flock here to enjoy the sun before their lectures or to study with friends. It's also a lovely place to sit and relax with a cold drink from Cafe Mondial! - Taz
