The benefits of doing a PhD with CEGS
"It helped my career as a lecturer and researcher that CEGS organised the first international DEFA retrospective conference in the UK. This conference gave me the opportunity to debate and network with colleagues from all over the world about my research topic. This event at CEGS gave me confidence as a budding researcher in a relatively new field and functioned as a 'stepping stone'.
With the help and encouragement of members of CEGS I have continued to present my research at international conferences and have had my PhD thesis published. Doing my PhD at CEGS in Reading has been an invaluable experience for my career as an academic." - Dr. Andrea Rinke, Kingston University.
