Disability History Month takes place every November across the UK.

During the month, staff, students, and the local community listened to inspiring lived-experience talks, took part in online cafes and workshops, and got involved in our awareness sessions.

We celebrated our diverse disabled community with shared purpose and pride.

Purple Sock Day

Purple Sock Day is a national campaign that highlights the importance of recognising and celebrating the achievements of people with disabilities.

To mark the occasion, Whiteknights House was illuminated in purple and staff and students wore purple socks, both as visible reminders of our commitment to promoting disability awareness and inclusion.
