Unique butcher's block, 150 years old, made of elm, 4 ft. high by 4 ft. across. Cost the butcher, Mr. S. Coleman, of Brookland, Kent, 7/6d. And another 7/6d. to get it home. But that was in 1931. Mr. Coleman is seen with a chop on the block.' 22/6/49 John Topham, Sidcup, Kent.
