RESEARCH
We study malaria immunology. In particular we are interested in determining how immune responses to malaria parasites are generated. Currently we are undertaking a number of projects looking at dendritic cell function in malaria infection.
1. Is the PI3-kinase pathway up-regulated in dendritic cells responding to malaria parasites?
2. The role of Ephrins in co-stimulation of T cells in malaria infection.
3. How does platelet activation by malaria parasites influence dendritic cell functions in malaria infection
