Papers of John Wallis Dodgson

J.W. Dodgson (1869-1950), the first student of Reading Extension College to obtain a University degree, became Warden of St David's Hall and Lecturer in Chemistry.

The collection consists of his detailed journal of everyday life in Reading during and after the Second World War, together with some of his letters from roughly the same period.

The journal was our featured item in February 2005.
