Help with Computing

ITS provides help and advice with using computer software and hardware.

• The Quick Guide Index on the IT Services - Internal Home Page is a comprehensive collection of detailed and in-depth self-help materials covering a range of subjects.
• On-line forms provide a quick way for applying for services
• Training in the use of common software is available from ITS.
• Open access PC and Unix workstation facilities are available on-campus.
• The software list is a quick way to locate software on central computing facilities.
• Software for use on other computers is available. Some of this software is available to buy, some free at point of use through a University site license.

The University does not sell computers, but does have a purchase agreement with a preferred supplier.
