About us

The Human Resources department, based in Whiteknights House, is part of the Finance and Corporate Services Directorate, and comprises the following teams, led by the Director of Human Resources, Mr John Brady.
 

Director's office

The Director's office provides advice and guidance to the University's senior management and ensures the provision of effective professional and operational support to the University's managers and staff.

Professional and Advisory

The Professional and Advisory team provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and staff including recruitment, performance management, change management and dispute resolution.

HR Operations

HR Operations provide the delivery of effective transactional services to managers, staff and potential new recruits including general enquiries, recruitment and HR administration and payroll functions.

Pensions

The Pensions team provide an on-site service in respect of the University's pension schemes, USS and UREPF.

Reward and Information

The Reward and Information team provide advice and support in respect of reward, re-grading, benefits and workforce information.

Equality

The Equality team provide advice and support on all issues relating to equality and diversity for staff and students.
