Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS)

This scheme is not available to new employees. There are a few individuals who are members of the TPS at Reading as this is as a result of the University's merger with Bulmershe College of Higher Education in 1989.

TPS is a final salary scheme with benefits linked to salary and pensionable service. Further information regarding the scheme can be found on the Teachers' Pension Scheme web site.
