Web recruitment went live in June 2009. We are working with our software suppliers and colleagues in the University to continually improve the web recruitment site and the experience for all who use it. We welcome any feedback you have.
There have been recent developments to the web recruitment system including predictive text in the Place of Learning field and part save email reminders for users who have an outstanding application against a requisition due to close within 3 days. We anticipate that there will be developments to the online system in future upgrades.
People Manager is the Trent Manager Self Service function which allows managers to see information about their staff and structure of their department. HR Systems are working with colleagues in HR and across the university to determine what information managers will find useful.
An initial pilot of the service with colleagues from Academic Services Directorate and School of Agriculture took place in December 2009. The second pilot will take place shortly with a view to receiving further feedback before rolling out People Manager in 2012.
HESA. HR Systems produce the annual return for staff and we work with colleagues in the Planning Support Office to ensure the accuracy of existing HESA data held in Trent. If you have any queries about HESA please see our frequently asked questions or contact a member of the HR Systems Team.
Management Information Reports remain a priority and are constantly reviewed by the HR Systems Team. We work with colleagues throughout the university to determine what information managers need and how best to deliver it.
We have recently automated a number of standard reports and continue to build on this service.
P60’s were made available online for the first time from 18th May 2010. Previous years P60's are also be available to view and print from the Statement of Earnings section under Payroll on Employee Self Service. Please note that the online P60 does not replace the hardcopy P60 that is received yearly with your payslip. P60's should be retained for future reference.
E-slips. Human Resources are now providing an online electronic payslip ('e-slips') facility for all employees, available from February 2011.
