Languages for All and University Wide Modules
The following Languages for All Programme (LfA) and University Wide Modules (UWM) modules are available for the 2026-27 academic year.
Languages for All/UWM modules may be available as part of your optional modules. These modules will either show within the full modules available on your online selection or with instructions in the Helptext for your part on how to request a Languages for All or UWM module. Students can only select a UWM at the same Part of their year of study. Please note not all Programmes/Parts offer Languages for All/UWM modules - if this is the case for your Progamme/Part you can opt to take a Languages for All module non-credit for a fee. Find out more on how to apply.
If you are unsure if your Programme of study is offering Languages for All or a UWM module, please contact the module selection team using Ask A Question.
If you have selected a Languages for All module to be taken in the 2026-27 academic year, you will be sent an email to complete an application and placement test form. You will need to complete the application and placement test form to secure your place on your chosen language.
Students who do not complete the application and placement test form will be removed from the module.
