Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is now open until Friday 12 June.

Why take part?

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is a nation-wide, independent survey to seek the views and experiences of taught postgraduate students. PTES enables us to gather important information about the experiences of taught postgraduate students on Masters, Postgraduate certificate or Diploma courses. It's important for us to hear about your experiences as your feedback directly informs changes to our programmes, facilities, and wider support.

PTES is run by Advance HE and is developed in consultation with the wider education sector and is robustly tested across diverse disciplines, institutions and students to ensure it produces valid results.

Complete the survey

If you are eligible to complete the survey, you will be emailed by JISC (the survey platform) with a link directly to the survey - this is the best way to access it as you don't need to input a username or password.

Alternatively, you can access the survey via this JISC link. A username and password is required to enter the survey when using these links. This is as follows:

Username: Your 8-digit student number as shown on your Campus Card or in RISIS
Password: ReadingPTES2026

You have until Friday 12 June 2026 if you wish to complete the survey.
